    MMOD; Ratings Up
    The country is once again being treated for its annual March Madness diagnosis, but it is doubtful CBS wants to see a cure anytime soon. The net is completely sold out of ad inventory for the first weekend of coverage of the NCAA Tournament, and it is seeing almost universal praise for the latest incarnation of March Madness On Demand. The easy-to-use technology draws rave reviews for its new High Quality player, with one writer noting MMOD is “like heaven.” While MMOD is poised to break all-time usage records, it clearly is not impacting TV viewer habits -- overnight ratings are up 9% from last year’s opening day despite Cinderella staying at home for the most part Thursday.
