Venue-By-Venue Attendance For '06 World Baseball Classic

The World Baseball Classic (WBC) began today with Japan defeating China in front of a near sellout crowd at the Tokyo Dome. The '06 WBC drew 737,112 total fans for its 39 games. The most-attended game was the Korea-Mexico game at Angel Stadium in Anaheim with 42,979 fans. The semifinals and final game at Petco Park in San Diego averaged 42,201 fans per game.
