Higdon Will Join LPGA Management Committee

SPORTSBUSINESS JOURNAL's Jon Show reports the LPGA has hired former Champ Car Exec VP/Strategic Development & Communications DAVID HIGDON as its first Chief Communications Officer, effective immediately. Higdon will be responsible for "building a strategic communications plan among the tour's various constituents." Higdon also becomes the sixth member of the LPGA management committee, though the first from the communications department. Prior to Champ Car, Higdon handled global communications for the ATP (SPORTSBUSINESS JOURNAL, 2/9 issue).

DraftFCB President & COO LAURENCE BOSCHETTO will become CEO, effective immediately (WALL STREET JOURNAL, 2/6).
