Kauffman Stadium Renovations On Schedule For  Royals' April 10 Home Opener

The Royals yesterday announced that the renovated Kauffman Stadium's three new branded outfield areas will be open for the team's April 10 home opener against the Yankees. The Dri Duck Fountain seats in left field will feature $7 tickets available for day-of-game sales only. The Pepsi Party Porch will be a standing-room-only terrace open to all fans attending the game. The Miller Lite Fountain Bar will be an open-air bar accessible to all fans in the outfield area (Royals). Royals President Dan Glass said of the $250M in upgrades made to the ballpark, “We used to call it a renovation, but it really is a brand new facility” (MLB.com, 2/25).
