Mets Donning New Caps To Commemorate Move To Citi Field

Commemorating their move to Citi Field, the Mets will don new caps from longtime on-field cap rights-holder New Era for the regular season. The 59Fifty caps feature a new Citi Field patch on the left side. The fitted caps will be available in all-blue, all-black, and a combined black and blue that will debut on Opening Day. They will be available at retail for the first time next week for around $36. MLB.com, Modell's, the Mets Clubhouse Stores and concessions at the team's Port St. Lucie, Florida, Spring Training complex are getting the advantage of a one-week exclusive retail window on the new caps. The Yankees are also expected to don new caps this season, marking their move into the new Yankee Stadium.
