CBS Interactive To Debut Online Series Around March Madness
Published December 30, 2008
CBS Interactive will launch a scripted Web series titled "Heckle-U" "timed to its coverage of the NCAA men's basketball tournament," according to Andrew Wallenstein of HOLLYWOOD REPORTER. The 10-episode series will star actor Owen Benjamin as an "underachieving slacker who excels at heckling during college basketball games with the help of his bartender uncle," played by actor Tom Arnold. The series, which will have "product integration from Procter & Gamble," is expected "to get some on-air exposure on CBS in the form of interstitials during March Madness" (HOLLYWOOD REPORTER, 12/30).
