Over the last 24 hours, a video allegedly showing Padres RF Brian Giles physically abusing his former girlfriend, who is suing Giles for domestic violence, appalled bloggers and was the most popular topic among the top sports blogs. Cowboys WR Terrell Owens' birthday party, and the noticeable absence of Cowboys QB Tony Romo and TE Jason Witten from the party, remained in the top five. News of MMA fighter Justin Levens and his wife both being found shot to death in an apparent murder-suicide was also highly discussed. Speculation that the Yankees may pursue LF Manny Ramirez and about Clippers and former Univ. of  Indiana G Eric Gordon's comments about drug use within IU's basketball program last year rounded out the top five.
