adidas Signs 11-Year Sponsorship Agreement With The IAAF

adidas and the IAAF have reached an 11-year partnership agreement granting adidas the worldwide sponsorship rights for all IAAF World Athletic Series events from 2009-2019. Under the deal, adidas will serve as the official IAAF athletic sponsor and licensee product supplier. The partnership also includes product creation, grassroots development and retail distribution. adidas will serve as the official sponsor of the '09 IAAF World Championships August 15-23 in Berlin (adidas).
