Blog Hound: Kentucky-UNC Basketball Game The Talk Of The Blogs
Published November 19, 2008
Over the past 24 hours, last night's Kentucky-North Carolina college basketball game was the most popular topic, with many not surprised by No.1-ranked UNC's big win. Davidson College PG Stephen Curry was also highly discussed after he scored 44 points in Davidson's loss to Oklahoma. Bloggers reacted strongly to comments from Michigan football coach Rich Rodriguez in which Rodriguez was critical of some of the negative feedback he has been receiving, especially feedback from message boards. Meanwhile, bloggers praised the decision by the Univ. of Texas to announce that defensive coordinator Will Muschamp will be the eventual successor to current coach Mack Brown. Rounding out the top five was debate over whether the Yankees were making wise financial decisions in their reported offers to free agents, namely Ps CC Sabathia and A.J. Burnett.
