Izod Center Reports Record Gross Tix Sales Of $14M For October

Izod Center Held 20 Events In October To Record Highest-Grossing Month In 27 Years

The Izod Center is "reporting a record $14[M] in gross ticket sales for October -- the highest-grossing month" in the arena's 27-year history, according to John Brennan of the Bergen RECORD. Twenty events took place at the Izod Center in October, "including seven concerts and multiple-night family shows such as the Tour of Gymnastics Superstars and Walking with Dinosaurs." NJSEA officials said that the arena has "featured more than 170 events -- a typical number for the facility -- since Prudential Center opened 12 miles away just over a year ago." The Prudential Center has also "played host to nearly as many events in that span" (Bergen RECORD, 11/13).
