Blackhawks Up 65.6% In Average Attendance At United Center

NHL total attendance through November 10 is up 1.2% from a year ago, while the Western Conference is up 4.7%. Leading the surge in attendance are the Blackhawks, who are averaging 21,351 fans per game, up 65.6% from a year ago, while packing the United Center to 104.2% capacity. The team continues to build on last season, when they saw a 32.1% jump in average attendance. Also seeing double-digit gains are the Red Wings (+13.7%) and the Coyotes (+10.7%). The Kings are down a conference-leading 6.0% at the turnstiles, with AEG President & CEO Tim Leiweke acknowledging last week that the team is "going to lose money." The following lists team-by-team NHL Western Conference attendance, with comparisons to the same period last year (THE DAILY).
