D'Backs Sign Tempe-Based RideNow Powersports As Pool Sponsor

Just one month after Riviera Pools pulled it sponsorship of the D'Backs' outfield pool at Chase Field, the club has "found a replacement with Tempe-based RideNow Powersports," according to Craig Harris of the ARIZONA REPUBLIC. Terms of the three-year deal were not disclosed. In addition to the D'Backs deal, RideNow this year also signed two-year deals to become sponsors of the Coyotes and NFL Cardinals. RideNow Dir of Marketing Gene Ponti said that "despite the sluggish economy, the company wants to spend money to get in front of sports fans." RideNow "sells new and used motorcycles, ATVs and watercraft" (ARIZONA REPUBLIC, 11/7).
