    When Sam Zell purchased Tribune Co. in April '07, he could not have anticipated that selling off one of the most marketable assets in sports, the Cubs and Wrigley Field, would cause such a headache. As the current economic crisis continues to take its toll on the sporting world, the WALL STREET JOURNAL reports sales talks between Tribune and the remaining bidders for the Cubs have stalled.
