Blog Hound: Bloggers Surprised By Trade of Iverson To Pistons
Published November 4, 2008
Over the past 24 hours, the trade between the Nuggets and Pistons involving G Allen Iverson was the most discussed topic, with many bloggers surprised by the trade. Also highly discussed was ESPN's Chris Berman's interviews of Presidential candidates John McCain and Barack Obama during the "MNF" broadcast. The firing of Univ. of Tennessee football coach Phil Fulmer was also a popular topic, though many bloggers expressed that they were not surprised by the move. Texas Tech's win over Texas continued to be a popular topic, especially WR Michael Crabtree's game-winning touchdown catch and the selling of counterfeit tickets outside the stadium. Rounding out the top five was the Steelers' "MNF" win over the Redskins, with bloggers discussing the presidential election superstition which predicts that since the Redskins' lost their last home game prior to the U.S. presidential election, the non-incumbent party candidate, Obama, will win.
