Blog Hound: World Series, Suspended Game Five The No. 1 Topics
Published October 28, 2008
Over the past 24 hours, the World Series continued to be the most popular topic among sports blogs, though many wondered how the suspension of Game Five would affect the remainder of the series. 49ers coach Mike Singletary's postgame press conference also continued to generate discussion, as well as a video clip of a pre-game interview with Singletary by Fox's Danyelle Sargent, which did not air, in which Sargent asked about whether Singletary talked with late Pro Football HOFer Bill Walsh after getting the 49ers job. Colts-Titans "MNF" was also highly discussed, with many surprised that the Titans continue to be undefeated. The behavior of Phillies fans sparked blog discussion following an article from the St. Petersburg Times that condemned the hostile treatment of Rays fans. Rounding out the top five was news that Univ. of Washington football coach Tyrone Willingham will step down at the end of the season.
