The ESPN Sports Poll, a service of TNS Sport, surveyed 27,663 sports fans last year, and 50.8% said they were fans of the NBA. That is down from the 54.3% who said they were NBA fans 10 years ago. The following lists NBA fan and avid fan levels among sports fans over the past decade (ESPN Sports Poll).
