AEG Signs Five-Year Event Management Deal With FedExForum
Published October 10, 2008
The Grizzlies have signed a five-year contract with AEG Facilities to book and market events at FedExForum. Brett Reopell, most recently the Grizzlies' Senior Dir of Booking, retains his role at the arena but now works for AEG. The deal is not an exclusive, which means the Grizzlies are free to continue working with other promoters to bring concerts, family shows and other non-NBA events to the building, said VP/Arena Operations Steve Zito. AEG has similar agreements with the Bobcats, Pacers, Coyotes and Spurs at their arenas.
