NFL Attendance On Par With '07; Raiders Attendance Up 10.6%

Through Week Five, the NFL is averaging 68,829 fans per game, on par with the same period last year (-0.4%). The AFC is seeing a slight increase (+0.8%), led by the Jets with 78,388 fans per game at Giants Stadium, up 1.1% from a year ago. The Colts' move to the new Lucas Oil Stadium has led to a 15.9% jump in average attendance, while the Raiders rank last in the conference in average attendance, but are up 10.6% at Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum. The Dolphins are seeing the biggest decline, off 8.0% through two home games. The following lists attendance for AFC teams, with comparisons to the same period in '07.
