Blog Hound: Chargers "MNF" Victory Over Jets The No.1 Topic
Published September 23, 2008
Over the past 24 hours, last night's Jets-Chargers "MNF" game took center stage among bloggers. Raiders Senior Exec John Herrera yelling at San Jose Mercury News columnist Tim Kawakami during a press conference, and afterward in a confrontation caught on video, after Kawakami asked Raiders coach Lane Kiffin a question involving the coach's lack of support in the front office was also popular. Univ. of Georgia (UGA) football pushed into the top five following announcements that ESPN "College GameDay" would broadcast from Athens this Saturday for Alabama-Georgia, as well as the retirement of long-time football radio broadcaster Larry Munson. Also popular was discussion of comments from Lions Vice Chair Bill Ford Jr. stating that he would fire Lions President & CEO Matt Millen if he had the authority. Continued discussion of the U.S. defeating Europe in the Ryder Cup rounds out the top five. Visit www.sportsmediachallenge.com for more info or see chart below.
