Blog Hound: Hochuli's Incorrect Call The No. 1 Topic Once More
Published September 17, 2008
Over the past 24 hours, NFL referee Ed Hochuli continued to be highly discussed, following the announcement that Hochuli would be downgraded by the NFL and Cowboys Owner Jerry Jones' comments that Hochuli has long been a highly criticized referee. Also a popular topic among bloggers was fear of a late-season collapse from the Mets was after their loss to the Nationals Tuesday night. ESPN's Tony Kornheiser is receiving flak for his comments during Monday night's "MNF" broadcast which were perceived by some as offensive, while the Brewers were a popular topic due to the firing of manager Ned Yost and their loss to Cubs last night. Rounding out the top five was the aftermath of Redskins TE Chris Cooley accidentally showing his genitalia on his personal blog, though Redskins head coach Jim Zorn was more concerned that the photo also showed a portion of the Redskins' playbook.
