Pittsburgh Tops NFL Markets For Most Avid Female Fans

The most avid female NFL fans live in Pittsburgh, with women in that market 121% more likely to be avid NFL fans than the national average, according to data from Scarborough Sports Marketing. In addition, 18.0% of all females in Pittsburgh are avid fans of the NFL. Green Bay, Indianapolis and K.C. also have strong contingents of avid female NFL fans, while N.Y., Detroit and the Bay Area have the smallest following of avid fans. Loyal NFL fans are those who are very or somewhat interested in the league, and fans are those who are very, somewhat or at least a little bit interested.
