Blog Hound: White Sox Win, Tonight's Tiebreaker Top Chart
Published September 30, 2008
Over the past 24 hours, the MLB playoffs were the most popular topic, highlighted by discussion of the White Sox's win over the Tigers yesterday that set-up tonight's AL Central tiebreaker against the Twins. The Steelers' overtime "MNF" win over the Ravens was also highly discussed, as was the firing of Rams coach Scott Linehan, with many wondering if Raiders coach Lane Kiffin would be next. Former NFLers working as TV analysts rounded out the top five -- ESPN's Cris Carter is catching grief from bloggers after saying that he would not have drafted former Lions WRs Mike Williams or Charles Rogers, though Carter had previously praised both players and their potential for success in the NFL. Bloggers also are circulating a video of ESPN's Emmitt Smith, who was unaware the camera was on him, dancing and mouthing the words to a song playing in the background during ESPN's "Monday Night Countdown."
