SeasonTicketRights.com Will Run Ravens' PSL Wait List
Published August 20, 2008
The Ravens and Houston-based SeasonTicketRights.com have expanded their existing pact to run an official secondary marketplace for PSLs at M&T Bank Stadium to now include wait-list positions for the PSLs. The club has capped the wait-list for PSLs at 3,000 spots, and given the already-intense interest in Ravens tickets, the wait-list positions themselves hold significant inherent value. The club this week will begin promoting the expanded marketplace, but already, two spots on the list have been sold: No. 444 for $2,050 and No. 124 for $2,000. "This is really the first time you've had an online secondary market for wait-list positions," said SeasonTicketRights.com President Kyle Burks. "But just as we've seen the value of PSLs appreciate, so too, will this asset." The Ravens first sold out their PSLs in '04. Since alignment with the Ravens last year, SeasonTicketRights.com has helped transact more than $4M in PSL sales for M&T Bank Stadium.
RAZORGATOR: As expected, RazorGator has extended its discount on seller fees until August 27. Earlier this month, the secondary ticket hub cut its seller commission by half from 15% to 7.5% in an effort to boost its profile in the fan-to-fan exchange portion of the ticket resale business. According to company officials, the promotion has boosted ticket listings on the site by 20%.
