NOTES: Carlsberg's 15-year deal with Liverpool is the "longest commercial relationship in British football." Crown Paint, which was "one of the first shirt sponsors," makes its return to the EPL after an absence of more than a decade. Aston Villa gave their shirt sponsorship "free to a local children's hospice, costing the club around [US$9.36M] a year in revenue." West Bromwich will be the first club "since the [EPL] began in 1992 to start without a sponsor" (London INDEPENDENT, 8/11).
