Dow Jones '08 Summer Games Index Up 11.19% Since Inception

The Dow Jones '08 Summer Games Index measures the performance of publicly traded companies that are official partners, sponsors and suppliers of the Beijing Olympics. As of yesterday, the index is up 11.19% since its inception on December 31, 2006, while the Dow Jones China Offshore 50 Index, which measures the 50 largest Chinese stocks traded overseas, gained 10.95%. The global and European blue-chip indexes, the Dow Jones Global Titans 50 and Dow Jones STOXX 50 indexes, are down 8.54% and 5.16%, respectively. The Dow Jones Industrial Average declined 5.23% in the same time period (Dow Jones).
