Published August 5, 2008
Over the past 24 hours, Dodgers LF Manny Ramirez and Packers QB Brett Favre continued their duel for the top spot, with Manny coming out on top today following reports that Dodgers manager Joe Torre wants Ramirez to cut his dreads. The Olympics moved into the top five, with discussions ranging from U.S. swimmer Michael Phelps, to women's beach volleyball, to China's pollution struggles. NFL Panthers WR Steve Smith's altercation with CB Ken Lucas remained a popular topic after Smith apologized and following reports that Lucas will be out two-to-three weeks after surgery on his broken nose.
