    Garber, MLS Considering
    Further League Expansion

Ahead of tonight's MLS All-Star Game in Toronto, Commissioner Don Garber reveals that even though the league already has two expansion teams lined up, the MLS BOG will meet to outline a plan for further growth. At least nine markets are under consideration, with three Canadian cities hoping to follow in Toronto FC's footsteps. While George Gillett previously has expressed interest in bringing MLS to Montreal, Steve Nash and Eugene Melnyk now are supporting bids in Vancouver and Ottawa, respectively. Meanwhile, Garber paints a bright picture of the league, noting attendance increases and strong ratings over the past year, as well as strong ticket sales for the expansion teams in Seattle and Philadelphia. However, some critics call tonight's game a "missed opportunity for MLS," as West Ham United is the "wrong opponent."
