Corcoran To Join Fenway Sports Group

Brian Corcoran will be named Exec VP at Fenway Sports Group (FSG) after six years at NASCAR, where he most recently served as Managing Dir of Corporate Marketing. Corcoran, who starts at FSG on August 18, has been spearheading NASCAR’s search for a title sponsor on the truck series and also was part of the team that signed Nationwide to title sponsor NASCAR’s No. 2 series last year and brought in Nextel in '03 as the top series sponsor. In his new position, he’ll work with many of FSG’s clients -- the Red Sox, Boston College, the PGA Tour -- while also finding new partners for Roush Fenway Racing.
