Two More Execs Leave Spurs In Wake Of Bookbinder's Departure
Published July 15, 2008
Spurs Sports & Entertainment (SSE) VP/Marketing Bruce Guthrie and VP/HR Paula Winslow have left the organization only a month after the "sudden departure" of Exec VP/Business Operations Russ Bookbinder, according to Travis Poling of the SAN ANTONIO EXPRESS-NEWS. Guthrie had been with SSE for 26 years, while Winslow was with the organization for 15 years. Spurs VP/External Affairs Leo Gomez "wouldn't say if there will be more staff changes," but he said that the "review of operations was ongoing." SSE includes the Spurs, the WNBA Silver Stars, the AHL Rampage and the management of the AT&T Center (SAN ANTONIO EXPRESS-NEWS, 7/15).
