Taking The Controls: Tony Parker To Grace "NBA Live 09" Cover

EA Sports today will announce that Spurs G Tony Parker will be the cover athlete for "NBA Live 09." Parker has been featured on five prior versions of "NBA Live" sold in France, but this year marks the first instance of a European-born player adorning the cover of the main worldwide release of the game. EA will release the game October 7 in North America and October 14 worldwide, including a simplified version for the Nintendo Wii that will form one of the five inaugural titles for the new All-Play sub-brand. Lakers F Pau Gasol will be on the cover of "NBA Live 09" sold in Spain, Bulls F Luol Deng in the U.K., and Raptors F Andrea Bargnani in Italy.
