Cowboys Launch Season Ticket Sales Web Site For New Stadium
Published June 6, 2008
The Cowboys have launched a new season ticket sales Web site to "sell reserved season tickets in the new" $1.1B Arlington stadium, according to Jeff Mosier of the DALLAS MORNING NEWS. Only existing season ticket holders "can buy seats" from the site. The "reserved seat season ticket prices range from $59 to $125 per game," and the purchase deadline is July 11. The Web site also allows buyers to view the stadium "from the perspective of their new seats." Pro Football HOFer Michael Irvin appears in a video introduction on the site in which he says, "This stadium is so remarkable, it makes me think about a comeback." A tour of the site is narrated by Cowboys radio play-by-play announcer Brad Sham (DALLAS MORNING NEWS, 6/6). In Ft. Worth, Andrea Ahles notes "any fan can check out the map's panoramic views on the team's home page," but the Web site is "designed only for season-ticket holders." Since the site was launched last week, "more than 60[%] of the 15,000 account holders have viewed it" (FT. WORTH STAR-TELEGRAM, 6/6).
