In Toronto, Rick Westhead reports Michigan resident Felix Gatt last week filed suit in Ontario Superior Court against Toronto-area Lucky Sports Management Inc. Owner Derrick Luck, accusing Luck of selling fake jerseys which "purportedly had been worn" during NHL games by Hockey HOFer Wayne Gretzky and former NHLer Steve Yzerman. The suit claims that the Gretzky Oilers jersey "was actually worn during a game by an undisclosed Gretzky teammate." The suit also alleges that the two Yzerman jerseys Gatt purchased "were actually store bought and only signed by the player later" (TORONTO STAR, 6/5).

LOCOG reportedly handled the search (BRANDREPUBLIC.com, 6/5)....Cleveland-area high school football coach Ted Ginn Sr. said that the "Ted Ginn Road to Opportunity" football combine, which began in '01, will not tour college camps this summer "because of issues with funding, time and helpers."
