TD Banknorth Garden Officials Boosting Suite Plans Amid Interest
Published May 28, 2008
TD Banknorth Garden's Garden View suite is a "big hit" and arena execs are "eyeing plans for a second big entertainment suite next season," according to Scott Van Voorhis of the BOSTON HERALD. The new suite, which is in a "very early stage of planning," would feature a "boardroom in one room, opening up onto an area to view the game." Wentzell said that the "idea of this 'meeting room' concept is to cater to busy executives who might be interested in booking a meeting before the big game." TD Banknorth Garden's officials have increased the price of the Garden View suite to $15,000 for the NBA playoffs, up from $10,000 during the regular season, and TD Banknorth Garden President John Wentzell said that if the Celtics make the NBA Finals, the suite price is "likely to rise a few thousand dollars more" (BOSTON HERALD, 5/24).
