  • McCann Erickson, BBDO Top List Of U.S. Ad Agencies For '07

    McCann Erickson, a part of Interpublic Group, moved past BBDO to grab the top spot among U.S. ad agencies based on revenue from advertising services. BBDO, JWT and Young & Rubicam (Y&R) are next in line. The same four agencies comprised the top four 50 years ago, when JWT led the ranking, followed by BBDO, McCann Erickson and Y&R. Among the 860+ agencies tracked, those belonging to the Big Four parent companies (Omnicom,WPP, Interpublic and Publicis) combined to earn 51.5% of advertising revenue in '07, with Omnicom having the biggest share. The following presents the top 30 ad agencies ranked by revenue from core advertising services (AD AGE, 5/5 issue).
