Progressive Field, Miller Park Top SI's MLB Ballpark Rankings

The following lists Sports Illustrated's '08 MLB Ballpark Rankings. The rankings are based on results from an online survey of baseball fans in March, when readers were asked to rate their hometown ballpark in 10 categories (affordability, food, team quality, tradition, atmosphere, fan IQ, hospitality, promotions, traffic and neighborhood). Nearly 15% of the responses came from season-ticket holders, and "more than half of all the responses came from fans who attend at least five games per season." The "happiest" fans were those of the Indians and Progressive Field, while the Brewers and Miller Park finished second. The Marlins, playing in Dolphin Stadium, brought up the rear of the rankings. Rankings for the Nationals reflect fan comments from RFK Stadium, their home from '05-07 (SI, 5/5 issue).
