    Horse Racing Facing Questions
    Is this the tipping point for thoroughbred racing? The sport is certainly facing one of its more dire episodes, as the focus coming out of the Kentucky Derby is whether fans will remain with a sport that sees some of its best talent die on the track. The headline of today’s Lexington Herald-Leader -- “Heartbreaking Losses Turn Horse Fans Away” -- is not one you want entering the second leg of the Triple Crown. Clearly, the leaders of thoroughbred racing have a crisis on their hands.
