Still In Demand: Favre In New Ads For Wrangler, Remington
Published April 21, 2008
Former NFLer Brett Favre has filmed ads for Wrangler and Remington that "will debut nationally in a few months," according to Don Walker of the MILWAUKEE JOURNAL SENTINEL. Wrangler Dir of Marketing & Communications Craig Errington said that Favre's ad for the brand's 5-Star premium jeans "will debut in July and will be shown on football telecasts around the country." The spot is "reminiscent of his earlier Wrangler ad." Remington Dir of Marketing Al Russo said that the company's spot featuring Favre is "more of a branding ad." Walker notes Favre signed with Remington in January, and the commercial shows Favre talking about the company "without mentioning any specific products." The ad will debut in June on outdoor channels (JSONLINE.com, 4/18).
