Bloggers discuss the intent behind Ravens K and player rep Matt Stover's e-mail, which laid out a plan to have a new NFLPA Exec Dir in place by March '09.

The players are guaranteed contracts, so they are paid long after their useful days to their teams. The owners are holding fire sales to dump salary, barely holding on to their franchises. - Stover’s e-mail has created a ground swell of respect for the often overlooked place kicker. Bloggers thought Stover demonstrated courage, which isn’t traditionally associated with his on-field position.
