Patriots To Launch Exhibit Featuring New England Football
Published April 8, 2008
The Patriots in September will unveil The Hall at Patriot Place, an exhibit that will "serve as an electronic encyclopedia, highlighting more than 600 high school, youth, and college" football teams in New England, according to Monique Walker of the BOSTON GLOBE. As part of the exhibit, the Patriots have launched NewEnglandFootball.com, a password-protected web site to which schools can "upload facts, figures, and pictures." At The Hall, an interactive touch-screen kiosk at an exhibit will "allow visitors to find a school in New England through the website and read what has been added." Patriots Owner Robert Kraft: "This new site will give them a place to share information about their teams with football fans who visit The Hall. It's also a place where we can honor the recent state champions on an annual basis." The exhibit also will feature a Wall of Champions that will 'include the jerseys of more than 50 New England state champions and Pop Warner regional champions." The Hall at Patriot Place Exec Dir Bryan Morry said there are "plans to hold a ceremony for raising the jerseys" (BOSTON GLOBE, 4/6).
