    Spring Training is just a couple weeks old, but the headlines are already starting to be dominated by the Yankees. An extensive profile of brothers Hank and Hal Steinbrenner in the N.Y. TIMES’ PLAY magazine claims it is “not clear how the club is likely to operate” under the new Bosses, as Hank has often been overshadowing GM Brian Cashman since assuming a more prominent role. Meanwhile, Hank fires the season’s first shot against the Red Sox, saying the notion of Red Sox Nation is a “bunch of (expletive)” and that the Bronx Bombers remain the most popular MLB team. One tidbit from the weekend that would define the term “strange bedfellows” for years to come -- Hank cryptically says that the Yankees and Red Sox could partner on non-baseball ventures.
