Shamrock Shake: CSN New England Launches "Celtics On Demand"
Published February 6, 2008
Comcast today launched a VOD application in New England called “Celtics on Demand” that will include replays of the team’s games four hours after they end. The games will be available for 24 hours to the operator’s digital subscribers in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont and Maine. The on-demand channel also will include shoulder programming, such as press conferences, documentaries and off-court events, such as following Celtics F Paul Pierce on a deep-sea fishing trip. Comcast SportsNet New England also pledged to carry all Celtics games, including road games, in HD; previously only home games were available in HD.
