Turnstile Tracker: NBA Western Conference Down 4.4%

The NBA Western Conference is down 4.4% in average attendance from a year ago, with five teams posting double-digit declines. Despite owning one of the better records in the league, the Hornets are down 29.3%, filling New Orleans Arena to only 66.0% capacity. The Mavericks continue to lead the conference with 20,248 fans per game, with AmericanAirlines Center packed to 105.5% capacity. Despite losing No. 1 overall draft pick Greg Oden for the season, the Trail Blazers have seen a 20.6% jump in attendance at the Rose Garden, fueled by a good start to the season.
