Fan Friendly: AFL Soul Create 14-Member Fan Advisory Board

 
The AFL Philadelphia Soul have formed a 14-person strategic advisory board comprised of fans that helps the Soul's front office "with everything from marketing campaigns to game-day activities and fund-raising initiatives," according to John George of the PHILADELPHIA BUSINESS JOURNAL. The team received more than 165 applications to serve on the panel from fans last summer. The team "has already used the committee's suggestions for radio advertising, a new ticket refund policy and theme nights." The league is "looking at making the Soul's advisory board a model for other AFL teams to copy" (PHILADELPHIA BUSINESS JOURNAL, 2/8 issue).
