New Era Cap Co. is adding to its "Spike Lee Joint" collection starting with a hat design involving the Yankees. The new line "will feature one new cap design to be released internationally each year.'' Terms of the deal were not disclosed. The Yankees cap will be released during the '08 MLB All-Star Game at Yankee Stadium and at New Era's flagship store in N.Y. (BIZJOURNALS.com, 2/11)....Gillette has signed the WWE's John Cena to promote its razors and shaving accessories. Cena will be featured in an ad campaign for the launch of the new Gillette Fusion Phenom razor. His first TV spot is scheduled for a mid-February launch (Gillette)....Magic C Dwight Howard is featured on the side of a Lynx bus in Orlando with the Magic's broadcast partners Sun Sports and FSN Florida's logos and the team's slogan, "The Magic Play Here," included (ORLANDO SENTINEL, 2/10)....The All American Football League (AAFL) has signed a sponsorship deal with Rogers Athletic Co., which becomes the official supplier of all practice equipment and game day field equipment for the league's six teams (AAFL).
