Lexus Signs Charles Howell III To Growing Golf Portfolio
Published February 12, 2008
Lexus has signed a three-year endorsement deal with PGA Tour golfer Charles Howell III, who will wear the carmaker’s logo on his left chest. Terms were not disclosed, but an industry source estimated the deal is in the mid-six figures annually. Lexus is in the early stages of formulating plans for a series of print and television ads that will include one or more of the golfers in its portfolio, which includes Annika Sorenstam, Peter Jacobsen, Raymond Floyd, Chi Chi Rodriguez, Mark O’Meara and Nick Watney. Sorenstam, Jacobsen and Floyd each won a U.S. Open championship at some level, providing a unique resource for Lexus to activate its USGA partnership. Howell also has deals with The Hartford and Rolex.
CDW: CDW, the PGA Tour's official technology partner, today announced a long-term deal with LPGA golfer Paula Creamer. The company will partner with Creamer to configure technology solutions to support her game.
