Sonics Fan Ejected After Verbal Exchange With Bennett

Sonics fan Sam Kidder and his girlfriend were "escorted" from Sunday's game against the Kings at KeyArena after Kidder shouted "Clay Bennett Sucks!" during a free throw, according to Jayda Evans of the SEATTLE TIMES. Kidder "moved from his lower-bowl seats to beneath Bennett's suite" during the game. Kidder: "I looked up at him and said, 'Hey Clay, what's up?' He gave me this snide look and I called him a thief and ... he blew me a kiss. That just set me off." A Bennett spokesperson said Bennett was not responsible for removing Kidder from the game, but Evans notes that Kidder was "ejected approximately 30 seconds after Bennett walked to the back of the suite" (SEATTLE TIMES, 1/29).
