    Tiger Woods, who tees off in his first PGA Tour event of the season today at the Buick Invitational at Torrey Pines, has responded to critics who are calling on him to be more outspoken on social issues, in particular the comments made about him by Golf Channel's Kelly Tilghman and the ensuing cover on Golfweek magazine.
