Delaware North Renews Indians, Blue Jackets Accounts
Published January 11, 2008
Delaware North Sportservice has renewed two major league food accounts in Ohio, including a 13-year extension at Nationwide Arena in Columbus, where the NHL's Blue Jackets play. Sportservice has been the team's regular concessions and suite caterer since the arena opened in '00, and its previous contract was set to expire in 2013.
In addition, Sportservice extended its concessions and suites contract with the Indians at Progressive Field for an additional four seasons through 2011, confirmed Dennis Lehman, the team's Exec VP/Business. Sportservice has managed concessions since the ballpark, formerly known as Jacobs Field, opened in '94 and took over premium dining in '03.
