    There was a palpable lack of buzz around last night's BCS National Championship game, but Univ. of Georgia President Michael Adams has an idea to add some juice to the college football postseason, proposing to NCAA President Myles Brand an eight-team playoff. Adams says the attitude of college presidents toward a playoff system is changing, but if statements from Oregon's Dave Frohnmayer and Ohio State's Gordon Gee are any indication, Adams has some convincing to do. And while complaints about the current system were as prominent as ever, Fox Sports' Ed Goren says the net intends to renew its contract, and attendance for the 32 bowl games this season is up 2.1% from last year.
