Blog Hound: BBWAA's Influence On MLB Contracts

The Baseball Writers Association of America voted Tuesday to deny awards eligibility to players with bonus clauses in their contracts for those awards. Red Sox P Curt Schilling, for instance, will earn a $1M bonus if he receives a single Cy Young vote in '08. Bloggers debate the decision.
